A link is bascially a guide to take you to the website/webpage/webpost, to tell you in very simple words, it is the identity guide that will lead you to proper place.

Link and Permalink 

The link is basically the domain name. Domain can be the name of ur business , the name of ur blog, the name of anything which you want your site to be represented with. It ends with an extension like .com , .net. , .org , .gov etc etc .

Permalink on another hand is the guide , is the location guide or info provider about that certain page or post in that site.

Keep things very simple easy and clear. In further posts i'll discuss in details.
